The traffic of Baotou City

Baotou is always famous as the wharf of land and water. It has been a traffic crossing which connects the important highway, railroad and airlines of the North of China and the Northwest.

External traffic

Aviation
The civil airport of Baotou is a modernize airport which can let all kinds of planes such as Boeing 737, TU154, BEA146 etc. fly day and night. Some scheduled flights which can go directly to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Taiyuan, Xian etc. have started now. You can buy tickets for many places. It is so convenient for journey and business!
The airport is apart from 23 kilometers of downtown. There are many scheduled flights to Beijing, Lanzhou and Shijiazhuang every day.

Railway
You can arrive in many large cities. There are several train stations. The important train stations are the Baotou Station and the East Station of Baotou. You can take the buses of NO.1, NO.2, NO.15, NO.101 to the Baotou Station or take the buses of NO.5, NO.7, NO.10, NO.13, NO.18, NO.131, NO.133 to the East Station of Baotou.
You must notice that which stations you are in. If you make a mistake, it is so awful! It is far away between the two stations.

Road
You can take 2 hours to arrive in Huhehaote if you take the buses on the highway. The long-distance bus stop of Baotou locates at the NO.189 of Baoqian Street in Xinao. You can go everywhere by bus because there are so many buses.
